The logo is made of 4 main components that diverge on their own but converge on the whole to give an expressive meaning to the logo:
- The dove: this is an abstraction of the dove as doves have always been mentally associated with peace. The use of it is to underscore the benevolence of Islam because, in essence, it is a peace-nurturing religion.
- A crescent embracing the word "Islam": the crescent is a symbol for Islam. This brings to the forth WWAII's main concern, presenting Islam.
- The globe: the shape of the globe embodies the international geographical expanse and that WWAII's activities are not restricted to a particular space.
- The acronym WWAII : the first letters of the association’s name and website address.
